ENERCON serves several markets throughout the energy sector, including data centers, mission critical facilities, the federal government, industrial, nuclear power, power delivery, grid infrastructure, power generation, and renewable energy.

Due to continued growth, our Chief Engineering Group is seeking a Chief Mechanical Engineer for our Kennesaw, GA or FT Worth, TX office locations.

Responsibilities

 

Prepare, review and support development of various engineering products associated with mechanical engineering. Engineering products include calculations, drawings, modification packages, purchase/design specifications, and studies.Provide mentoring and training to grow technical expertise of other engineers in specific mechanical engineering areas such as fluid mechanics, HVAC, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, fans, etc.Perform subject matter expert reviews of engineering products involving mechanical engineering.Collaborate and ensure effective teamwork with other ENERCON engineering groups for customer support, execution of projects, and business development.Support occasional site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions.Work across multi-disciplined teams. Many projects are multi-disciplined and require interface with engineers from other groups and offices.  Qualifications B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVACExcellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days.
