The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) leads the clinical content strategy and innovation in alignment with our mission to deliver unparalleled savings and efficiency for health payers. Reporting directly to the COO, the CMO will collaborate across departments—including Product, Sales, and Operations to drive ideation, content development, and customer engagement. This is a pivotal role for a strategic thinker and content innovator with a passion for driving change in the payment integrity space.
· Define Lyric’s clinical strategy and philosophy to align with the evolving needs of the payment integrity space.
· Identify and innovate clinical content, focusing on what delivers the greatest customer savings and efficiency.
· Oversee the buildout of critical content areas using data-driven insights and AI to enhance value creation.
· Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to clients during pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
· Collaborate with the Sales team to build confidence in Lyric’s solutions and expand customer relationships.
· Represent Lyric at industry conferences, speaking engagements, and events to elevate the company’s brand.
· Work closely with Product, Operations, and Sales to ensure alignment of clinical content with business objectives.
· Lead and mentor a team of physicians, nurses, and coders, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
· Partner with teams across the organization to ensure the effective execution of clinical initiatives.
· Oversee the clinical content-related execution team, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives.
· Establish frameworks for leveraging advanced technologies like AI to optimize clinical content creation and scalability
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ **Travel** : Ability to travel 4-5 times per month to support client engagements and industry events.
***The US base salary range for this full-time position is:
$297,203.00 - $445,805.00
