Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support: Conduct all aspects of radiation therapy physics, ensuring high-quality patient care. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with NRC and state regulations, as well as ACRO and AAPM guidelines. Qualifications:

Board Certification: Required Clinical Experience: At least five years preferred Technical Expertise: Demonstrated skills in IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, and other advanced techniques Performance Management: Lead the development and documentation of performance specifications, procedures, testing tolerances, and testing frequencies for all therapy equipment, ensuring top-notch operational standards. Expert Consultation: Provide expert advice to Radiation Oncologists on the physical and radiobiological aspects of treatment, translating complex treatment plans into clear, actionable instructions for radiation therapists. Innovative Design: Oversee the design, fabrication, and precise measurement of treatment beam modifiers and aids, contributing to cutting-edge treatment solutions. Clinical Practice Support: Play a pivotal role in the clinical practice of Radiation Oncology Physics and dosimetry, including equipment usage, selection, and replacement. Team Leadership: Manage physics and dosimetry staff requirements, assignments, and recruitment, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
