**Job Description**
The Chief of Staff, Corporate Strategy Office will act as a key strategist, advisor, and operational leader communicating, directing and aligning across the diverse global leadership team under the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). As a Global MedTech and Endoscopy leaders our strong ambition at Olympus is to elevate the standard of care for our patients. This Chief of Staff, Corporate Strategy Office will oversee key initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, events and ensure the successful execution of priorities bringing together diverse stakeholders acting as a bridge between various parts of the organization to achieve common objectives. The Chief of Staff, Corporate Strategy Office should thrive in an environment of competing priorities and be able to problem solve, prioritize and deploy resources with ease and comfortable with conducting analysis, benchmarking and research to provide informed recommendations and facilitate value added discussions and agile decision-making.
**Job Duties**
+ Staff Lead: Responsible for planning and leading all staff meetings playing a pivotal role in team cohesion and collaboration. Represent CSO in different forums across the organization.
+ CSO Point of Contact: Act as a liaison between the CSO leadership team and other functions providing two-way updates and addressing concerns as they arise.
+ Strategic Prioritization: Identify high IMPACT areas to maximize CSO time and efforts in alignment with corporate goals – committees/projects/travel/events/communication.
+ Calendar of Events: Coordination of key events across Global Executive Committee, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, BOD, Global Communications and major Industry Events
+ Strategic Communication: Develop proactive communication for CSO for all stakeholder levels (Executive, Staff, Employee, External) collaboration with Communications team, as needed.
+ Action Item Deployment & Follow Up: Translate strategies and priorities into workable actions the staff can implement directly and can be easily followed up on.
+ Financial Analytics: Monthly analysis of internal company level P&L results, key drivers (internal & external). Responsibility for financial consolidation and budgeting for CSO function.
+ Stakeholder Map: Gather input from key stakeholders and external benchmarks to aid the CSO, as a complex function, and define what to stop-start-refine for continuous improvement.
+ IMPACT Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across all sub functions ensuring alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
+ Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on specific projects, fostering alignment and collaboration across departments.
+ Meeting & Event Facilitation: Setting up key meetings, facilitating discussions during the meetings, and following up on action items.
+ Structure & Talent Advisor: Together with HR Business Partner, provide support to CSO in organizational structure and key talent related initiatives (hiring, calibration, development, etc.)
+ Operational Excellence: Drive efficient collaboration across sub functions, office of CEO & BOD and recommending process improvements/elimination of non-value-added efforts/meetings
**Job Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ BS Degree in Engineering or Business. Advanced degree is a plus.
+ 10-15 years or more work experience in the Healthcare Industry, qualified candidates will have global multi-functional experience.
+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple schedules simultaneously and competing priorities.
+ Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of managing complex projects.
+ Adept at stakeholder management and negotiation, with the ability to liaise effectively with executive and senior leadership, teams, and cross-functional members at all levels of the organization.
+ Executive presence with confidence, comfortable communicating with and presenting to all levels of leadership, and able to tailor communications to the audience.
+ This global role requires regularly attending early morning and late evening meetings in alignment with the company’s global working guidelines.
+ Must be agile and regularly work across global regions and time zones.
+ Required to travel by plane 10%-15% as needed, at times internationally.
+ Candidates for this position should be located in the Eastern US time zone.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $182,390.00 - $273,584.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
