Responsibilities and Qualifications 

You will develop a broad understanding of the Engineering organization and the complexities and opportunities surrounding its ambitious business priorities. You will help Engineering leadership accelerate organizational transformation through the use of empathetic and skilled communication. The value you create will be rooted in data-driven insights, proven problem-solving methodologies, and cross-team collaboration. You will also bring your prowess and experience with creating content and events to elevate our engineers and our Goldman Sachs Engineering brand. You will fulfill these responsibilities along with other strategic projects prioritized by the organization’s c-suite leaders, including the global Engineering chief operating officer and the head of Salt Lake City Engineering. 

Basic Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree required; degree in organizational development, human resources, communications, public relations, marketing, business or consulting preferred 3-5 years of related work experience  

Preferred Qualifications 

Organizational Development, Leaning & Development 

Ability to work with senior leaders and stakeholders to create consensus around strategic projects. Design, develop, implement and evaluate large-scale events to elevate our engineers and the Goldman Sachs Engineering brand internally and externally.Brief senior speakers to shape internal training content and messaging. Oversee all aspects of learning delivery and coordination of in-person and virtual events, conferences and training programs.   

Management & Strategy 

Manage Americas management and strategy projects to support Engineering senior leadership and the organization’s strategic priorities.  Strong technical skills and experience manipulating data using Excel; ability to analyze data and draw conclusions. Experience developing business analytics and presentations for senior management. 

General 

Strong Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability to transform abstract ideas into solutions. Highly organized with excellent project management skills, attention to detail and follow-through.  Results-oriented; ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships across levels and teams.
