Chief of Staff to the Chief Brand Officer

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a Chief of Staff to report to the Chief Brand Officer! We have an outstanding opportunity to develop a deep understanding of Chewy’s business, build strong cross-functional relationships with senior leaders, and quickly drive significant impact at an interpersonal level.

This leader will be a thought partner to the Marketing leadership team, steer strategic projects, and will refine and operationalize mechanisms and processes to continue to make Chewy the leading destination for pet parents and partners everywhere! This is a dynamic role that will require an outstanding degree of business and operational savvy, comfort in implementing the vision of the Marketing organization, and the ability to conceptualize solutions for cultural, workflow, and interpersonal challenges. Candidates will be framework-oriented problem solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments and will possess the capability to ultimately lead a Chewy business line.

What You'll Do:

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Brand Officer, providing high-level strategic supportCoordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company priorities, brand team priorities, and timelinesOperationalize marketing strategy by aligning the organization against articulated objectives, streamline and improve processes for effective partnership, and identify gaps in systems Identifying the right teams, driving collaboration across organizations, implementing processes, and getting in front of potential opportunitiesWork with Finance relationships and analytics teams to connect across dept wideBuild positive relationships across the organization and externally with outside partners and third partiesAttend meetings and participate in projects with, or on behalf of the Chief Brand Officer; handle pre-work, coordinate results, facilitate meetings; and drive accountability for follow-through following those meetingsCoordinate and prioritize critical issues and information to facilitate efficient leadership (VP) decision-making

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field10+ years of work experienceFamiliarity with Marketing strategy and operationsSolid track record of getting things done from strategy to deliveryStrong written and verbal presentation skillsExceptional ability to work efficiently and cross-functionallyDemonstrate a data-driven approach to problem-solving and prioritizationAbility to proactively identify future business needs and actualize plans in responseOperational role in tech and corporate environments

Bonus:

MBA or advanced degreeConsulting experience in retail or e-commerce
