Description:
Reports to the Board of Directors Works with the Board to ensure the execution of the Association’s missionResponsibilities include but not limited to:
Leadership and Management
Assist in developing, maintaining and supporting a strong Board; seek and build Board involvement with strategic direction from the Executive Committee and/or Board. Ensure effective systems to track progress of strategic plan initiatives to ensure successes are effectively communicated to the membership. Coordinate with the Board in managing relationships with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and its Affiliates.Fundraising and Sponsorship
Primary lead in supporting the fundraising and sponsorship efforts of the Association by maintaining existing partnerships and cultivating new partnerships for sponsorships and fundraising. Seek sponsorship generation and new revenue streams, establishing relationships with outside partners that are looking to expand their reach in the DEIB space. Coordinate with the Strategic Partnership and Development Committee to ensure alignment and planning.Communications
Serve as the spokesperson of the Association and when needed provide a statement on the current trends in the industry. Serve as a lobbyist and voice for the Association in the following: Advocacy Political space Employment space Outreach and Networking to Affiliates/Allies/Other Partners within and outside of collegiate athleticsOther duties as assigned by the Board of Directors

Minimum of five (5) years of senior management experience leading an organization. Commitment to fostering belonging and inclusive excellence in previous positions. Previous experience working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate existing Board relationships. Ability to cultivate and sustain donor, sponsorship, corporate and presidential relationships.
