PAGNY Coney Island is seeking an energetic and motivated Chief Physician Assistant Responsibilities

Facilitate open channels of communication with members of the Emergency Medicine faculty and Leadership team by acting as a liaison among staff. In conjunction with departmental scheduler, resolve scheduling and possible cross coverage issues as they arise with individual PAs Provide direct patient care on assigned shifts. Plan, review, and supervise the administrative and operational activities of the ED PAs related to productivity, quality improvement and regulatory compliance. Coordinate the recruiting, interview, selection and orientation process for ED PA positions. Conduct periodic and annual performance evaluation of ED PAs and coaching with respect to opportunities for performance and professional growth. Precept and evaluate physician assistant students rotating through the Emergency Department.
