Chevron is accepting online applications for the **Chief Pilot** position through **February 5th, 2025** at **11:59 p.m. (Central).**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate for the role of Chief Pilot to lead our Corporate Aviation Services team. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our cabin services and pilot team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Chief Pilot will manage a team capable of operating our corporate fleet globally, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Provide strategic leadership and direction to the pilot and cabin services team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
+ Oversee pilot training programs to maintain the highest levels of proficiency and safety.
+ Develop and manage flight schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and personnel.
+ Act as a liaison between the flight department and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft readiness and reliability.
+ Ensure compliance with all domestic and international aviation regulations and company policies.
+ Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
+ Develop a professional culture that encourages growth, accountability, and collaboration within the team.
+ Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
+ Manage day-to-day activities of the flight department, including performance evaluations, team development, and resource allocation.
+ Represent Chevron Corporate Aviation Services in industry forums and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and industry partners.
+ Ability to travel worldwide.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification required.
+ Extensive flying experience with a proven track record of safety and operational excellence.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
+ In-depth knowledge of domestic and international aviation regulations.
+ Experience in managing complex flight operations in a global capacity.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
+ Relevant pilot certifications and licenses
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 4-year degree preferred.
+ 5 years international flight operations preferred.
+ 5 years of previous leadership experience within an aviation flight operation preferred.
**Relocation Options:**
Relocation **may** be considered.
**International Considerations:**
Expatriate assignments **will not** be considered.
