Chief Technology Architect
Overview **This position is contingent upon award of contract** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a highly qualified Chief Technology Architect with experience in design of systems/networks, systems analyst, and software engineering to accomplish services under this contract. Essential Job Duties Design architectures to include operating systems, applications and hardware to support total customer requirements. Responsible for the administration, configuration, inventory, analysis, troubleshooting and customization of the VDI infrastructure. Support virtual enclave administration, fault management, trouble analysis, and reporting. Support the security and hardening of all both internal and enterprise managed virtual infrastructure. Support development of all network architecture and engineering initiatives, including developing and leading design of new network capabilities and architecture where network connectivity is lacking or non-existent. Support services to include Windows 7/10 Operating Systems, HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, RHEL, virtualization, thin/zero client technologies, and client-server/storage systems. Provides guidance/training to customer's administrators, staff, and end-users on the assigned systems. Provides status updates and briefings to customer's management and Government customer(s), as required. Completes activity reports in accordance with contract requirements. Participates in related solution technologies and special projects, as required. Minimum Requirements An active in-scope Top Secret/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10 years of related experience An IAT III certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH) or is required Experience with virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, thin/zero client technologies, client-server and storage systems Extensive experience with network design Experience with MacAfee HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system Must have experience operating and designing classified networks Experience with tactical Military Intelligence systems, specifically the Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A) mobile Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Information Technology or related discipline CCNA, CCNP, VMWare, NetApp Admin, NetApp Implementation Storage Engineer, Microsoft Server 2012, or Microsoft 2016 certifications Experience with client knowledge across DCGS Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends
