Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
ARE YOU READY TO WORK AT PRIMEREVENUE? The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as the executive-level representative for PrimeRevenue’s Technology TEAM. They will be responsible for spearheading transformative initiatives including the execution and delivery of the modernization of PrimeRevenue’s technology framework and architecture, and ensuring the continued success of our current and future platform and solutions while simultaneously supporting corporate growth objectives. This role will provide technical and strategic leadership across a portfolio of technical programs and products and is accountable for the smooth transition from the current ‘as-is’ to our future ‘to-be’ technical state. Our Technology Leadership TEAM currently includes: VP, Infrastructure & Engineering VP, Program Management Office Director, Product Management Please note: this role is located at our Headquarters in Atlanta, GA and will be in office 4+ times/week. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Provide strategic leadership, partnership, and guidance across PrimeRevenue on Technology TEAM strategy, timelines, and roadblocks to include: Partnering with the Chief Leadership TEAM and key stakeholders to ensure that technology is supporting and maximizing the performance of the business to achieve long-term strategic goals. Leading the Technology Leadership TEAM and ensuring the focus remains to execute and deliver on current (and future) commitments. Instilling a market and client-centric culture by working closely with colleagues in Marking, Business Development, and Operations. Assisting the CFO with the development of annual budgets along with tracking of budgeted expenses related to the modernization effort. Supporting product management strategic priorities that anticipate and meet changing market needs Facilitating all aspects of any technology acquisitions, including system and platform integrations, data separation or consolidation, technology resource management, technology and roadmap commitments, etc. Identifying, managing, mitigating, and effectively communicating all risks associated with or tangential to technology initiatives, including managing a secure coding environment and ensuring all code delivered meets current “market standard” security protocols. Managing development and system updates in collaboration with PrimeRevenue’s Security TEAM to ensure that the PrimeRevenue System continues to operate in a secure state and meets regulatory requirements. Coordinating security updates and regulatory compliance with PrimeRevenue’s Security TEAM. Partner with the Technology Leadership TEAM to identify, solidify, and document the ‘to-be’ technical state of the modernized architecture and framework to include: Understanding the current ‘as-is’ state of existing architecture. Aligning with strategic business goals, product roadmaps, and market opportunities to establish how the Technology TEAM can best support. Performing gap analysis and due diligence to identify all areas of technology architecture to be modernized. Defining the ‘to-be’ technical vision that details the end state result and goals of the transformative efforts, including but not limited to, paths to completion, timelines, budget, resource needs, risks, and ROI projections. Ensuring the decisions made in support of modernization are scalable, reliable, follow best practices, and consistently align with and support our business and strategic goals. Establish a detailed, phased delivery plan to implement key transformative initiatives based on the ‘to-be’ technical model to include: Utilizing a budget and resource plan to support the delivery timeline. Applying a risk identification, management, and mitigation strategy designed to ensure minimal risk to current business operations. Building a change management strategy that will ensure changes to scope, schedule, and budget are clearly assessed before being considered. Establishing periodic reviews to evaluate progress and reset expectations, as necessary. Identifying, implementing, and reporting Technology KPIs to measure the efficacy of solutions. Ensuring solutions are scalable and manageable, minimizing reliance on specialized or hard to find skills. Establishing and implementing standards and practices related to assessment and utilization of new and evolving technologies, software, and industry best practices. Spearhead evaluation and integration Advanced AI Solutions and introduce data centric strategies to drive continuous innovation and maximize customer value delivery to include: Identifying how AI can be introduced into the evolving technology stack, ensuring AI enhancements align and comply with corporate and industry ethics and regulatory standards. Establishing a strategy for implementing data analytics to enable and support driving effective business decisions. Introducing AI supported product development and identifying opportunities to enhance products and services with AI capabilities. Evaluating and identifying appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and deployment stack) for delivering the company’s products and services. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Preferred industry experience includes: Transaction Processing Financial Services or Leading Enterprise of SaaS service provider The CTO will need to have experience in the below areas: Cloud Technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Public/Private and Hybrid Clouds) Enterprise Architecture Service Oriented Architecture Event-Driven Architecture API Development Portal / Content Management eCommerce (B2B, B2C, B2E) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) TEAM-building, Leadership, and Employee Development P&L, Budgets, and Cost Management Governance, Program Management & Portfolio Management Additionally, the CTO will need the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Located in Atlanta, GA with the ability to be in the office 4+ times/week. Additionally, this person will need to be able to travel to our Prague, London, and/or Hong Kong offices as needed or required by the business, i.e. 1x/quarter. Experience in successfully engaging, communicating with, and presenting to Executives (internal and external), key stakeholders, Board members, and investors. Ability to envision the future ‘to be’ state and effectively articulate and present this as needed or required Demonstrated success in modernization strategies, including transitioning from monolithic architectures to more modern microservices, serverless, or containerized environments. Experience architecting and executing technology platform improvements that support and enable substantial transaction volumes with the highest degree of accuracy and security. Proven ability to understand and translate the goals and requirements of Clients, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations into technology-enabled solutions. Demonstrated success managing large, highly integrated projects across internal and external staff and as required, including the integration of acquired technology. Experience in understanding the technical aspects of web system architecture, design, and development. Experience in transitioning from legacy databases (i.e.: mainframes, Oracle) to more modern solutions like NoSQL, data lakes or real-time analytics platforms. Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in an entrepreneurial and/or start-up environment acting as a player/coach willing to do what is required including individual contribution in areas where necessary.
