Child and Youth Case Manager (Outreach)
Our client is seeking a Child and Youth Case Manager (Outreach) to join their team. As a Child and Youth Case Manager, you will be part of the Child and Youth Development team supporting families experiencing homelessness. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to trauma-informed care, and the ability to build rapport with families, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Child and Youth Case Manager (Outreach) **Location:** Calgary, AB **Job Description:** + Engage and build rapport with families to develop and achieve child and youth development goals. + Assist families in registering their children in school and ensure regular attendance. + Provide referrals to community resources and support families with system navigation. + Collaborate with educational institutions and partner agencies to advocate for educational stability. + Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and case plans. **Qualifications:** + Post-secondary degree in social work, child and youth, family systems, human services, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Knowledge of issues related to family homelessness and housing insecurity. + Experience in case management and working with families in a shelter environment. + Current First Aid/CPR and Suicide Intervention Certification. + Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and requisite liability insurance. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. + Collaborative and supportive work environment. + Professional development and training opportunities. + Engagement with community resources and partnerships. + Work with a dedicated team committed to trauma-informed care.
