Overview:
Amergis Staffing is looking for qualified Administrative Assistants to help identify families eligible to receive funding through the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) to assist with child care costs through the Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP) so those families may continue to work or attend education or job training courses.
In addition, CCESs are tasked with provider agreement processes for Child Care Providers that are reimbursed with CCDF funds. This includes meeting all requirements at both federal and state levels.
The CCES reviews family applications for CCSP and makes eligibility determinations based on Federal and State rules and procedures.
The CCES must make determinations on a case-by-case basis, applying various criteria and analyzing the needs of each individual family. This requires independent judgment to accurately determine unique situations.
13 paid holidays per year

Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based off the circumstances. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
Responsibilities:
Processing applications to determine financial and program eligibility for the Child Care Subsidy Program, redeterminations, and agreement packages. Reviewing, entering data, and submitting Provider billing; Conducting Customer service contacts through mail, email, phone, and fax. Maintaining files and scanning for each client and provider. Assisting on tasks as set by supervisor for special projects, i.e. Mailings, rule changes, etc. Meeting for monthly supervision and team meetings in order to provide workload updates and review case files.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of modern office practices and the principles of organizations. Knowledge of teamwork principles and strategies. Knowledge of Federal and State programs Ability to work with timelines and schedules. Ability to use proprietary data systems and Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented. Ability to gather in-depth information. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Ability to use discretion and judgment in dispensing information, as well as maintain confidentiality. Ability to understand, implement, and explain complex oral and written instructions. Ability to effectively interact with others of widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and viewpoints. Ability to accomplish the quality/quantity of work within set expectations. Ability to exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions/recommendations. Ability to develop and recommend operational improvements. Ability to adapt processes/procedures to meet new and/or changing work requirements. Ability to establish operational priorities, procedures, and quality assurance mechanisms. Ability to effectively plan and adjust work operations to meet planned and unexpected change.
Schedule: The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, forty (40) hours per week on site.
