What You Will Do:
This is a hybrid position that requires two days in the office each week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
Collaborate with colleagues to support lead agency implementation of the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program and establish criteria to assess the effectiveness of different approaches by analyzing a variety of policies, problems, and questions.
Prepare technical, programmatic, and policy-related responses to issues raised by grantees, Congress, and other stakeholders regarding the implementation of the CCDF program.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to influence, motivate, and coordinate people and groups utilizing skills in persuasion, negotiation, motivation, and rapport-building.
Carry out various activities and projects related to the administration of childcare programs, including the CCDF program.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in behavioral or social science or a related discipline appropriate to the position.
Minimum of FOUR (4 ) years of experience, including experience interpreting laws, policies, and practices applicable to the administration and implementation of child care at the federal, state, territory, tribal, or local; experience providing technical guidance on child care programs at the federal, state, territory, tribal, or local level; and experience identifying organizational program goals and objectives to plan the sequence and timing of key program events and/or milestones.
Experience presenting information to an array of audiences.
Strong analytical skills.
Expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to analyze, summarize, and compile data and information.
Ability to perform detail-oriented work.
Ability to collaborate with staff from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets and work in a team to improve processes or systems.
Strong oral and written communication techniques, including in response to requests either internally or externally.
Strong prioritization and time-management skills to balance ongoing responsibilities with urgent requests.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Master's degree preferred.
The annual salary range for this position is $75,800.00-$113,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
