As a Child Care Worker, you will:
Assists with ADL routines including house jobs, room chores, wake-ups, and lights-out, laundry, cooking, etc.
Supervises individual and group activities such as trips to the community, including parks, beaches, concerts, sporting events, leisure/ wellness activities, etc.
Upholds all elements of behavior management system, including the program’s phase-oriented treatment approach, conflict resolutions/ mediations, and a repertoire of therapeutic confrontation techniques and trauma-informed responses.
Attends to the educational/ vocational, health/ wellness, recreational and emotional/ mental health needs of our clients.
Models positive behavior at all times while confronting negative behavior through a trauma-responsive approach
Commits to the mission of the program by supporting the creation of a safe, orderly, and caring environment.
Qualifications - External
Ideal Candidates must possess:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience working with adolescents (preferred)
A strong belief in others ability to grow and change while recovering form complex traumas
Clean and Valid driver’s license
