**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**
Coordinates center activities and daily functions, accounting and record keeping components as required to be in compliance with the centers’ licensing agency.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Types, copies, and files office correspondence.
+ Conducts routine audits for compliance with policies for all childcare center locations and works with site leaders and supervisors for correction action plans if necessary.
+ Evaluates systems such as enrollment procedures, dietary procedures, and office systems for all childcare center locations to ensure compliance within our license.
+ Answers telephones, records message and refers calls appropriately.
+ Schedules and conducts tours with parents; enrolls children.
+ Assists with waiting list and management of space openings for all childcare center locations.
+ Schedules children for services, based on parents’ needs.
+ Establishes and maintains all records, financial and health related on all children at the childcare center
+ Develops and analyzes continuous improvement tools to receive continual feedback regarding programs and services and manages the action plans.
+ Updates materials and forms as needed per regulatory requirements at all childcare center location.
+ Maintains appropriate inventory of materials for multiple sites including ordering supplies, equipment and materials for children, parents, and staff.
+ Submits payroll deductions for childcare fees for all childcare center locations.
+ Collects fees from non-employees and deposits according to tuition fee policies for all childcare center location.
+ Meets and greets parents.
+ Supervises staff, overseeing schedule and routines at assigned site.
+ Coordinates special staff events, parent education and staff development opportunities at childcare center.
+ Coordinates with designated staff to meet Excellence Initiative requirements and Gallup Impact Plan implementation.
+ Provides oversight of curriculum and manages staff needs in order to carry out the scheduled activities.
+ Interviews, selects, and orients new staff at site and provides support at childcare center.
+ Provides continual feedback to childcare center staff on performance and counsels childcare center staff when necessary.
+ Conducts parent meetings regarding classroom operations and child development concerns provides management support for staff.
+ Receives and follows through to resolution for parent concerns
+ Supervises required drills such as fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, sheltering place drills, etc. as required by the licensing regulations for the state within which the center resides.
+ Coordinates routine check ins to insure compliance with the health department, risk and safety and fire inspector.

**Licensing/Certification**
+ CPR Certification consistent with State Regulations for Child Care (required at time of hire or within 30 days of hire date, per state requirements)
+ First Aid Certification – Consistent with State Regulations (required at time of hire or within 30 days of hire date, per state requirements)
+ Complete Training for Child Abuse and Neglect/Mandated Reporting Consistent with State Regulations and Communicable Disease and/or Health Screening (required within 30 days of time of hire)
**Education**
2 Year associate degree Required (Early Childhood Education or related field)
4 Year bachelors degree Preferred (Early Childhood Education or related field)
**Work Experience**
3 years of leadership experience (preferred).

**Patient Population**
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.
