As a Childcare Program Administrator, you will:
• Maintain and manage the childcare waitlist database and Parent Coaching website
• Interface with the Programs Manager, Center Directors and Staff, Board of Directors, Waitlist Committee and the Childcare Community
• Prepare scheduled/urgent request reports for Childcare Management
• Train the Centers’ Administrative Staff and Directors on the waitlist process
• Periodic reporting to and daily problem solving for waitlist participants
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
• Attend onsite events to promote Childcare Waitlist and Resource & Referral services (Child Care, Elder/Dependent Care, Legal and Financial Resource and Referral Services)
• Implement new/improved processes, tools, and waitlist database
• Assists with the coordination of child and family related webinars

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree, or combined education and additional experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree is required. College coursework in education or related field is desirable.
• 3 or more years related experience. Experience and/or knowledge of early childhood education, child care, and/or school-aged resources is required

Pay Range:

$48,360.00 - $67,704.00

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. While some jurisdictions, including Maryland, permit the use of marijuana for medical purposes, marijuana continues to be classified as an illegal drug under the federal Controlled Substances Act.  As a result, medical marijuana use will not be accepted as a valid explanation for a positive drug test result.

 

Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing. ("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
