Reports to: Childcare Director
Salary: $17.14-$20.59 per hour
Location: Oceanside, CA
This role is based in Southern California, specifically in Oceanside, CA (North San Diego County). It is located inside a miliary base installation. Base access is provided to civilian employees.

As part of our dynamic team, you'll help plan, lead, and immerse children in engaging group and individual programs. You’ll be the Curriculum Wizard!
Bring curriculum to life with a sprinkle of creativity! You'll be the curriculum wizard, turning learning into an enchanting experience. You'll interact with children using enchanting child guidance and youth development techniques, all while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Let Your Creativity Soar!
Get ready to be the mastermind behind daily lesson and activity plans. You'll lead exciting activities and make sure every child's unique needs are met, with input from parents and guidance from your supervisor.
Be the Captain of Fun and Safety!
You'll be the guardian of the kids, ensuring their safety during indoor and outdoor adventures. Safety is your middle name, and you're not afraid to speak up if you see any concerns.
Your eagle eyes never miss a beat!
Make a positive impact by maintaining ongoing observations and evaluations of each child, contributing to program enhancements. Your dedication to professionalism extends to interacting with parents, participating in conferences, and fostering strong relationships through effective communication.
Embrace teamwork!
Collaborate seamlessly with your team and maintain a well-equipped program site. Keep records up to date and participate eagerly in family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and training sessions, representing our organization with pride and enthusiasm.
What experience and skills you will need to be successful:

You must be at least 18 years old and possess one year of prior experience working with children, youth, or teens in a daycare setting.
Ready to soar?
Complete all required training within established timeframes and demonstrate competencies to maintain employment status. This includes orientation, Heart Saver Pediatric First Aid and CPR training, Redwoods annual trainings, and approved Marine Corps Standardized Module Training.

Meet current health and sanitation requirements and successfully pass random drug testing, a criminal background check, driving record check, and employment reference background check.
