CHMC – Cardiology Physician Office-Clinic Assistant (RN, LPN, or MA)– Full Time- Day Shift–8a-4:30p- Requisition 8295 

Pay Ranges*: 

Medical Assistant (non certified): $17.45-$22.56 

Medical Assistant (certified): $18.51-$23.60

Clinic LPN: $24.16-$31.40

Clinic RN: $36.54-$48.41

  A Cardiology assistant provides general and specialized care to adult patients undergoing invasive and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic exams.  Assures that patient education is provided pre and post testing.  Ongoing monitoring/evaluation of the patient is done throughout the procedure and post-procedure in order to recognize any untoward effects, notifies physicians of any changes during test. May be required to float to radiology department as needed.

Qualifications: 

Valid New York State RN License OR

Valid New York State LPN License with cardiology experience OR

MA experience with cardiology experience

Must maintain BLS certification  

Successful completion of Advance Life Support class and certification  

Three (3) years in critical care setting preferred  

In depth knowledge of cardiac physiology and electrocardiograms  

Knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.

Requirements: Bending, lifting, standing, walking
