**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are an industry-leading supplier of a variety of metals to the aerospace field. We are looking for an experienced machine operator. This individual will be responsible for cutting metals, deburring edges, and inspecting/measuring product. Great opportunity with OT available and room for advancement. **Responsibilities** + Load metals into machines and set up correct fixtures and cutting units. + Measure metals accurately to ensure proper cutting lengths. + Inspect cut metals using measuring tools to confirm accuracy. + Use handheld deburring equipment to remove burrs from the ends of the cut metals. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience. + Proficiency with computer operations. + Basic measuring skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with band saws and cutting tools. + Proficiency in grinding operations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Why Work Here?** We are a private company that values our employees and offers opportunities for career advancement. We are looking for someone to work the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
