Summary:
ICI is a self-supporting state agency and exists as a resident Training Program. ICI subscribes to professional ethics and supports all other agencies to foster the integrity of the criminal justice system. Idaho Correctional Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 to work with and support the efforts of the ICI Sales Department in all aspects of operations including assisting the Sales team, showroom management, and other related office tasks. You may also work directly with the customer(s) to ensure the customer’s needs are met, this includes, clarifying and documenting what a customer has requested and possibly conducting research.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet Customers, Clients, and Vendors as they enter the ICI Showroom.
+ Collect, and distribute incoming mail.
+ Answer phones, screening, and channeling calls.
+ Oversee the Showroom Sales Email inbox.
+ Maintain record-keeping systems by creating, collecting, and developing compiling data and reports as requested.
+ Place ITD orders, receive deliveries to the showroom, process transmittals, process RMAs, process Internal Sales Orders, process various customer orders, log incoming checks, and record monthly mileage on company vehicles.
+ Perform a variety of admin functions for the Sales Team to ensure customer’s needs are met.
+ Perform human relation skills to influence others' behavior.
+ Work cooperatively and professionally with staff and other departments.
+ Maintain showroom inventory and overall arrangement of showroom items for display.
+ Assist the Sales Manager/Direct Supervisor with tasks that are given upon request.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Experience in customer service and/or admin skills. Typically gained by 6 months of work experience conducting customer service and administrative duties.
+ Experience accessing data using a computerized system. Typically gained from at least 6 months of experience in a work setting where you were required to enter and retrieve data in a database records system or other computer records system.
+ Experience independently handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting. Typically gained by 6 months of experience independently handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting.
+ Experience conducting sensitive fact-finding interviews. Typically gained by 6 months of work experience conducting sensitive fact-finding interviews.
Specialty Qualifications:
+ Intermediate word processing skills (40 WPM).
+ Intermediate database skills to include creating, formatting, editing, sorting, filtering, printing, and storing data in pre-designed tables, customizing tables, importing and exporting data to tables, create forms and simple reports, set relationships between tables, convert, transfer or import data, design and create complex queries and reports.
