We are looking for a CI Engineer. The CI Engineer will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will lead and promote the site’s continuous improvement initiatives designed to eliminate non-value-added activities while improving operational excellence. This position ensures existing processes maintain a high level of performance while continuously reviewing and refining those processes. This individual will facilitate projects aimed at generating continuous improvement techniques, cost reduction, and process performance improvements. Provide efficient leadership and cost-effective integration of Continuous Improvement, creating operational excellence. Provide training and continuous improvement activities throughout the plant, while serving as a subject matter expert
RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Required - Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations & CI function required. Required - Prior Experience in a Continuous Improvement function. Required - Must have thorough understanding & hands on experience of Problem-solving tools and be able to assist teams thru the process. Advanced problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail and numerical aptitude Required - Proficient with Microsoft Applications: Word, Visio, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Required - Strong understanding of contemporary problem-solving tools and techniques. Preferred - Project management experience. Proven skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects. Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills in planning and organizing to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Has the ability to think creatively and proactively propose solutions with attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate problems and ideas with your colleagues’ peers and with management. Ability to build effective working relationships across the organization. Ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams. Ability to operate independently within a strict time frame. Is a high-energy self-starter with a resilient and capable attitude.
Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $80,000.00 to $113,000.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
