The Associate Continuous Improvement Specialist will provide a vital role in advancing the Troy site along it's zero-loss journey. The role will primarily lead the CSD pillar by managing training plans and material documentation and it will support the other CPS pillars as a member of various workstream teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead CSD pillar team and maintain above target pillar team assessment scoreOversee all CSD pillar team meetings and plans, including training all pillar team members to CSD pillar SWPs and DMSs and coaching individual team members on their assigned responsibilities.Guide pillar team members in creating employee area validation materials and certification/curriculum plans and lead them through annual document review of all corresponding standards and training materials. LeadAssume the daily leadership tasks of CI/CPS Manager when necessary.New Hire Orientation and coordinate the completion of all new hire and cross-training documentationParticipate in DDS and lead Plant DDSDevelop and publish key CSD-based metrics and support plant CI progressionOwn the plant document control system and oversee the development, review, and modifications of all standards and necessary training toolsEngrain a learning culture in the facility to empower operational ownership, self-directed learning, and effective knowledge transferMaintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with members of Leadership team and all plant employeesCoach, coordinate, and support plant pillar teams (CSD, AMD, PM, EM, etc.) on appropriate selection and use of root cause analysis tools and appropriate standard templatesMonitor the proficiency of operator trainees so that unnecessary disqualification does not occurSchedule, track, and communicate monthly EHS and Quality Alchemy training learning plans for compliance of all employeesSchedule and oversee annual compliance training requirements, including EH&S classroom training requiring 3rd party instructors (First Responder, Lift Truck, Fire Extinguisher, AFCO, etc)Oversee trainer, mentor, validator program, including leading classes for new TMVs.Coordinate the development of a training plan when new equipment and processes are brought into plantWork closely with all site departments to develop, communicate, and implement training systems across the plantEngage in all Enterprise-led CSD calls, including leading monthly coaching calls for new CSD pillar leads and participating in all monthly and quarterly CSD Leadership team calls.Spend time on production floor as needed to support CI initiativesMay perform other duties as assignedPosition Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Required. Bachelor's degree preferred1+ years of previous experience in continuous improvementPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment preferredUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and lossKnowledge of GMPsExcellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skillsExcellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint)Ability to work weekends and/or off-shift hours as required per job tasksA self-motivated individual that is able to multi-task and lead others through influenceWillingness to accept and provide feedback in a positive formatPrevious experience with TPM preferredCompensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
