Overview of the role:

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for cleaning all equipment after production had stopped, while communicating and working in conjunction with the control room.

Schedule: Sunday7:30pm-06:00am, Thursday 7:30pm-06:00am, Friday7:30pm-06:00am, Saturday5:00pm-3:30am

Salary: $23.38

Full-time only: There are salary increases every 6 months up until 36 months of service.

How you will make contributions that matter:

Hooking up circuits and equipment for CIPTearing down filling equipment and manually cleaning parts and pipingMaintaining a clean environment by cleaning floors, walls, garbage containers and drainsMaintaining valves throughout the plantEquipment inspections including tanksSupports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

Grade 12 educationWorking knowledge in food or dairy environmentPrevious chemical handling experienceMust be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environmentA high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyoneCan easily assume additional responsibility as requiredQuick at assessing the facts and making a sound decisionEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be available to work night shift and weekends
