**Job Title:** Senior Principal Electrical Engineer **Pay Rate:** $55 - $59/hr. W2 **Location:** San Diego, CA Our team is driving the hiring process for a **Senior Principal Electrical Engineer** to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA. If you thrive on solving problems and want different challenges each day, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform detailed electrical mixed circuit design and circuit-level analysis. + Support qualification testing and prepare test procedures and reports. + Develop LabView designs and support hardware production manufacturing. + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address technical challenges. + Utilize test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DC/AC power supplies, and network analyzers, for troubleshooting and development. **Basic Qualifications:** + **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with **8 years of relevant experience** ; OR + Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with **6 years of relevant experience** . + Proficiency in schematic capture and board layout using **Altium Designer** . + Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical hardware. + Experience in design, development, and troubleshooting of **NI LabView** and **NI TestStand Software** . **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ability to work with minimal direction or guidance. + Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on **mixed circuit design** . + Experience in the development and design of automated test equipment. + Proficiency in **OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice** for circuit simulation. + Experience with **FPGA, CPLD, and microcontrollers** . + Familiarity with **IPC** and **Military standards** . **About Our Team:** At **PDS Tech** , we are driving the hiring process for our industry-leading partners in the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries.
