We’re looking for a Circular Economy Supply Chain Manager to join us in Amsterdam.
Within Liberty Blume the Re-Think team drives, develops, and establishes innovative initiatives to promote sustainable technologies and support the ESG targets of the Liberty Group.
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Supply Chain Manager thriving in a start-up environment to lead and coordinate our logistics initiatives, primarily focusing on the management of E-waste from our customers, partnering with refurbishment companies, and ensuring timely delivery to our buying customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from E-waste procurement to customer sales, while maintaining an efficient and transparent supply chain network.
This role is essential in minimizing environmental impact, promoting responsible resource management, and fostering ethical partnerships with all stakeholders, thereby contributing to our commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and governance excellence.
What will you be doing?
Logistics Coordination: Oversee and coordinate logistics efforts among E-waste suppliers, refurbishment partners, and buying customers.
Track logistics status, manage inventory levels, monitor stock numbers, and maintain updated records of product locations.
Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business unit goals. Identify cost-savings opportunities, forecasting demand and supply of electronic equipment and updating the equipment catalogue.
Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups, including international customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Relationship Management: Coordinate the relationship between the sales team, Liberty Global Affiliates, clients and refurbishment & recycle partners to enhance performance and meet revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to support company initiatives that enhance supply chain outcomes.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Report on supply chain KPIs to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
Contract Supervision: Supervise all supply chain contract operations, ensuring compliance and effective management of partnerships.
Advance Green Targets: Support efforts to reduce carbon emissions by promoting the reutilization of technology through the Re-Think initiative and represent Re-Think during events.
We tend to look for people with:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred.Curious mindset, looking for improvement opportunities and open to challenging the status quoStrong problem-solving skills thriving in a start-up environmentExceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Experience working with ERP systems and logistics software.Proven ability to develop strategic solutions that drive business performance.Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across varied markets and nationalities.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics coordination, circular economy and inventory management.Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably with experience in circular economy.What’s in it for you?
