The CIS Regional Leader of Wabtec plays a vital role in representing and advocating for Wabtec to business and government stakeholders. Their main responsibilities include driving a One Wabtec approach in leading and achieving commercial strategies, business development, regional operations, and talent development aligned with the global P&Ls and functions. Experience in the CIS Region is required for this role. The Regional Leader must also spend at least 50% of the year in Kazakhstan.
To achieve this, the Regional Leader is leading and partnering across a matrixed organization as well as with cross-functional teams and P&Ls. The goal is to support Wabtec's culture through strong and inspiring leadership in the CIS region.
Execution
Ensure execution of business metrics: Sales/Revenue, Cash, EBIT, and OrdersEnsure and implement a growth plan, including CAPEX. Define and approve key projects to support growth in the regionExecute and expand localization efforts across various business segmentsEnsure successful execution of commercial plans that align with the overall business strategyMonitor processes, analyze data, and suggest business strategies to reduce the cost of programsDrive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, drive cost out, and overall business performanceGrowth & Regional Strategy
