CIS VP P&C Lead NA
**Job description:** **The Focus of Your Role** You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the end-to-end management of the North America Projects & Consulting (P&C) business including both the pre-sales / centre of excellence and the billable resources functions. You will: + Take full strategic and operational accountability for the work of the P&C function, including budgeting, estimating, resource planning and day to day management within agreed processes, systems and policies. + Operate and maintain the integrity of processes and systems to track and monitor progress to targets, take corrective action and produce reports as required by senior management. + You will need to successfully lead and manage the practice and stakeholders and have industry expertise recognised by Capgemini’s clients and set collective and individual targets and objectives. + You will have full range of strategic management and leadership skills. Understand, explain and present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels including C-level Executives in a persuasive and convincing manner. Take the initiative to keep both own and team members’ skills up to date and to maintain an awareness of developments in the broader IT market. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Accountable for Practice leadership within the NA P&C group of accounts, including financial performance, meeting the business plan, operational excellence, delivery performance and people management. + Ensure that suitable Practice resources are applied to pre-sales, sales pursuits and solution generation activity and resources successfully execute to agreed schedule, budget and scope. + Ensure that team members perform Learning & Development, including formal partner certification, aligned to the CIS Portfolio (Cloud, Cybersecurity, ESM, UEX, DCT-IS-Networks). + Ensure the Practice delivery and managed services teams for the NA Portfolio use the toolsets of choice in an accurate and consistent manner. + Delivery of P&C solutions, and Bids assuring alignment to the overall business and technology strategies + Collaborate with partners from global alliances to technology providers as required to deliver and develop client requirements. + Proactively promotes the identification of risks and issues across the Region and manages them. + Provide the appropriate COE resources and components to bids and support the overall Pre-Sales activity. + Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables; creates and implements strategy to mitigate shortfalls in timeline, budget and commercial implications with clients. + Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes; works across Portfolio to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution. + Own Demand Management for the Practice resource pool within NA P&C, and Managed Services, and have overall ownership of the resourcing and capability needs and fulfilment. + Ensure that Practice capability is delivered cost effectively with appropriately skilled individuals and meet (recoverable) utilisation targets. + Line management and career management of all P&C team members. Manage capability including the setting of objectives. + Work in collaboration with the Account Executives to deliver improved customer satisfaction for the account. + Develop and learn from each project/service and enhance the quality of Practice capability and process by developing personal and team skills to the highest standard possible and through participation in and contribution to the development of NA P&C and broader Global P&C Community. **Required Skills:** + A wide range and detailed experience of Cloud, Cybersecurity and overall IT services including assessment, design, implementation and provision of project consulting and / or managed services in the IT space from either an end user or competitor organisation, together with detailed understanding of the principles of business and markets and sound experience of relevant business sectors. + Have strong planning, communication and presentation skills, the capability to listen and influence and therefore have strong conflict management skills. + Demonstrate up to date knowledge of the organisation’s policy framework, organisational relationships, business processes, reporting procedures, and existing and planned information systems and services. You will therefore be recognised as having a top-class reputation within a Practice Leadership discipline and has the appropriate gravitas. + Excellent interpersonal, team working and mentoring skills- need to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and customers. Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple customers and/or engagements. Keen to succeed for self, team and the business. + Effective Relationship Management, experience with working and establishing relationships at all levels within a matrixed global organisation.
