Job Description
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is on the hunt for Communications Administrators with good problem-solving skills and experience with Cisco Collaboration Virtualization technology to join our team as Unified Communications Administrator II's atJBAB, in Washington DC!
As a Unified Communications Administrator II you will:
+ Work in a team providing standardized solutions based on Cisco network equipment around the country and internationally.

A week in the life of a Unified Communications Administrator II:
+ Resolve Unified Communications user incidents and requests, to include operational voice and video challenges.
+ Resolve issues with vendor-specific multi-level video teleconferencing systems.
+ Manage UC endpoints.
+ Complete moves/adds/changes according to the specified SLAs.
+ Provide weekly report activities to the manager.
+ Assist with the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment.
+ Create and maintain appropriate documentation, including operational instructions.
+ Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
+ Actively involved in hardware refreshes.
+ Maintains security policies on UCS systems
Job Requirements
+ ActiveTOP SECRETclearance withSCI eligibility
+ Bachelor's degree in STEM field with 2+ years of experience
+ DoD 8570IAT Level I Certification or higher (e.g.,A+ ce, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ ce, or SSCP)
+ Acquire a DoD 8570 Computing Environment certificationswithin 6 monthsof hire (e.g.,Cisco CCNA Voice or equivalent certification.)
+ Experience with CiscoVTCcodecs, CiscoVoIPendpoints,Cisco Unified Call Manager(CUCM) version 11.5 or later, and CiscoTelepresence Management Server.
+ Ability, on occasion, to provide customer support outside normal duty hours.
+ Must be open to 10% annual travel and possess a valid US driver's license.
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is$110,000-$120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
