Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil 3D Designer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will produce CAD models in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support engineering studies and construction activities. Additionally, you will create drawings, sketches, and reports to convey outputs from engineering to both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure the quality of all deliverables before passing them on for review and ensure compliance with budget and program requirements. Staying updated with technical quality management procedures, developments, and specifications related to your work scope is essential.
ResponsibilitiesProduce CAD models in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support engineering studies and construction activities.Create drawings, sketches, and reports to convey outputs from engineering to stakeholders internally and externally.Ensure the quality of all deliverables before passing them on for review.Ensure all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and program.Stay updated with all technical quality management procedures, developments, and specifications related to the discipline work scope.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with Civil 3D.Experience in designing roadways.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil, Land development, Site development, Civil design, CAD, Civil drawing, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading, and Drainage.Experience with MicroStation and roadway design.Computer literacy in basic software packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Fluent spoken and written English.Additional Skills & QualificationsPost-school level education achievements in a relevant area for delivering engineering CAD outputs.Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM).Ability to work maturely in a diverse team.Work Environment
You will be part of a small engineering and design team supporting the UK Power Delivery team. The role offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for flexibility between office and remote work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
