My Client is looking for a Design Engineer to work on both residential and commercial projects including mixed-use properties, sub-divisions, and site plans for multi-family and commercial properties.

Job Description:

Work on both Residential and Commercial projects that involve mixed use properties, sub-divisions, site plans for multi-family and commercial properties.Prepare Engineering construction documents for residential and commercial, and industrial developments to include: site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, earthwork, soil erosion and sediment control, and civil/site permitting, alignments, designing surfaces, and pipe networks.Perform design tasks, such as layouts, grading, and drainage, associated with civil engineering projects.Prepare complex storm water calculations and reports.Prepare flood studies and flood hazard area permitting.Ensure technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various plans, reports and design documentsEnsure that assigned projects are completed within the guidelines established by local, state, and federal laws, regulations, standards, and/or policiesMaintain accurate records, notes and other required documentation for assigned projects

Qualifications:

At least 4 years of professional experience in land development or water resourcesBS in Civil EngineeringProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DEIT preferred but not requiredKnowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations in New JerseyAutoCAD Civil 3D skills with the ability to design site layouts concept through completionProficiency in grading and other site development related designsProficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis including knowledge of hydrologic or hydraulic software (HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to interact with clients
