Job Title: Civil Engineer
Job Description

An established Connecticut Site/Civil & Environmental Engineering Firm is seeking engineers at all levels. We are looking for a Civil Engineer with EIT certification or an Associate Civil Engineer with a P.E. license. The ideal candidate should have experience in site work, infrastructure, storm drainage and treatment, roadway design, erosion control, and onsite sewage disposal systems.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage site design projectsDevelop drainage management designsCreate septic design plansConduct site gradingPrepare a variety of local municipal applicationsDesign roads and storm sewersEssential SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering schoolProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD/Hydoflow, MicroStation3-4 years of experience for Civil Engineer role or 5-10+ years for Associate Civil Engineer roleProgression towards a P.E. license for Civil Engineer or possession of a P.E. license for Associate Civil EngineerStrong writing skills and capability to prepare construction specificationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsEIT certification recommendedExperience in land development, stormwater design, wastewater design, and site developmentGood communication skillsEnergy and passion for engineeringWork Environment

This is a full-time in-office position with occasional flexibility to work from home. All employees are provided with a work-from-home setup but are expected to be in the office. The firm offers 100% firm-paid employee benefits and 'Summer Fridays' with half days.
