Civil Design Engineer
Job Title: Civil Design EngineerJob Description At our company, you will take the lead on design tasks for diverse infrastructure projects within our Fort Wayne, IN office. Responsibilities + Lead project design calculations, reports, planning preparation, and roadway modeling. + Assist office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations. + Develop a peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts. + Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking. + Support Indianapolis and regional offices on a variety of infrastructure projects. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. + 2+ years of experience in transportation design engineering or water/wastewater design engineering. + Registered Engineering in Training (EIT) aiming to become a Professional Engineer (PE). + Technical knowledge and computer skills, including ACAD Civil 3D, MicroStation Bentley Open Roads Designer, and drainage software such as StormCAD. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Team player with a great attitude that wants to grow professionally. + Experience at the PE or PM level is a plus.
