Civil Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs and plans for civil engineering projects.Conduct site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and drawings.Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.Prepare and present technical reports and project proposals.Monitor project progress and provide technical advice to resolve issues.Conduct risk assessments and manage project budgets.Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil design engineering.Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

Primarily office-based with occasional site visits.May require travel to project sites.Exposure to construction environments and varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00
