Job Description
Looking for Revit or Civil 3D Designers to join their Process Piping Team to improve infrastructure, based out of their Fort Lauderdale, FL. The candidate should have an associate’s degree in technology, civil engineering technology, engineering technology or a related field and have at least 3 years of related experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
Day-to-Day:
Create, manage and own Revit projects developing quality content as requiredLead discipline specific efforts in planning and preparing drawings using RevitGenerate project-specific custom parametric Revit families, templates and content, as neededSupport and successfully apply company, client, and project drafting standards, procedures, and best practicesDemonstrate ability to apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required models and drawingsProvide a range of production work including problem analysis, layout, modeling, detailing, drafting, and coordination with other disciplines on project of substantial variety and complexityDemonstrate knowledge of assigned and related disciplinesSuccessfully communicate and correspond with internal project personnel and external clientsExecute design changes and project drawing revisions throughout all project phasesMaintain BIM and CAD proficiency and mastery of current software platforms.Assess problems and recommend solutions to technical and design related issuesInterpret, analyze, organize new design projects and/or revisions to existing projects of varying scales and complexityApply the use of technology differentiators (3D modeling, advanced rendering, etc.) in marketing and proposal developmentPerform QA/QC on individual and overall project level production to reflect highest quality being providedDemonstrate willingness to stay abreast of BIM related technologies and engineering concepts to provide flexible project supportRecognize and work to meet project schedules and budgetsMaintain a collaborative and dynamic work environment with related staff in multiple disciplines to assure project successSupport and mentor fellow usersAssist Project Managers as neededQualifications
Associates or higher technical degreeLarge firm experience (engineering/consulting) on large scale projectsExpert user in Revit3 plus years of experience as a Revit DesignerStructural or Mechanical Process Piping is a plusWater/Wastewater project experience is a plusPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
