Civil Designer
Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Designer to join our Land Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design plans and drawings for various land development projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and proficiency in design software. + Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for land development projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal sites. + Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards. + Conduct site assessments and gather data to inform design decisions. + Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software to create accurate and efficient designs. + Prepare grading, drainage, and utility plans. + Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. + Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project schedules. + Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed. Skills Civil 3d, Design, Land development, Site development, Drainage, Grading, paving, Stormwater, Civil design, Civil engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience as a Civil Designer in land development projects. + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software. + Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
