Civil Designer
Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description We are seeking a full-time Civil Designer with experience in drafting and design of civil-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in site development, grading, storm water, and utility design. The candidate should be capable of working in an environment with little or no supervision. Responsibilities + Design and draft civil engineering land development projects. + Perform site development, grading, storm water, and utility design. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. + Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed plans and designs. + Collaborate on storm drainage design and erosion and sedimentation control. + Handle NPDES permitting and storm water regulations. + Conduct resident observations and/or construction inspections as needed. Essential Skills + Proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices. + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations. + Familiarity with storm water and utility design. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with MicroStation, Survey CAD, GIS, or similar programs is a plus. + Understanding of erosion and sedimentation control. + Knowledge of storm water regulations and NPDES permitting. + 0-5 years of experience in civil design. + Experience with resident observation and/or construction inspections is a plus.
