Job Title: Civil Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer with a strong experience in civil engineering and land development-based CADD drafting using Autodesk Civil 3D. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in land development design and at least 3 to 5 years of prior experience in a civil engineering related field using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Responsibilities
+ Perform grading and land development design using Autodesk Civil 3D.
+ Draft and prepare civil engineering plans, including layout and profile work for residential, commercial, and utility projects.
+ Ensure compliance with local jurisdictional requirements.
+ Collaborate with project teams to develop construction documents.
+ Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
+ At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a civil engineering related field using Autodesk Civil 3D.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in land development design.
+ Working knowledge of construction documents including plan layout and profile work.
+ Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and civil engineering drafting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 2-3 years of experience working for a Civil consulting firm using AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development drafting.
+ Experience with MicroStation is a bonus and desired.
+ Knowledge of local jurisdictional requirements is a plus.
Work Environment
You will be joining a well-established civil engineering firm with a staff of 80 employees. The office environment is professional and collaborative. The firm is the oldest civil firm in the valley and offers permanent, long-term opportunities with potential for bonuses
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $44.00/hr.
