Civil Designer
Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water/Wastewater Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background , excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities + Create detailed designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants. + Conduct thorough site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and constraints. + Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates. + Oversee the implementation of projects from conception to completion, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. + Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations. + Work closely with civil, environmental, and mechanical engineers to integrate various aspects of project design. + Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. + Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle. + Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). + Experience in water/wastewater design engineering. + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant design tools. + Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and regulations. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Professional engineer certification. + Experience with drainage, grading, open roads, microstation, pumping station, water distribution, and sewer systems.
