The Civil Engineering Designer is responsible for the design and production of plans and project documents under the supervision of the Project Manager and Project Engineer. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering design with a focus on land development. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Familiarity with local municipality standards is also a plus. The Civil Engineering Designer will interact with other members of the design team and work well in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
+ Design and produce plans and project documents under the supervision of the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
+ Ensure adherence to project specifications and local municipality standards.
+ Collaborate with other members of the design team.
+ Contribute to a fast-paced work environment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering design.
+ Experience in land development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with local municipality standards.
+ Experience in residential projects is a bonus.
+ Grading experience is a bonus.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office environment, working Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The company is employee-owned with a backlog of work, providing stability and opportunities for growth.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
