Job Title: Civil Drafter

Job Description

An Architectural and Engineering firm in Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated Civil Drafter to join their team. This individual will collaborate with various project managers and departments to design and complete client designs for new buildings and renovations. The role involves preparing and creating construction documents that include storm water management and preliminary layout for projects, as well as roadway layout, parking layout, site grading, paving, utility location, and services. The drafter will be responsible for creating these drawings using Civil 3D software.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project managers and departments to design and complete client projects.Prepare and create construction documents, including storm water management and preliminary layouts.Work on roadway layout, parking layout, site grading, paving, and utility location and services.Create detailed drawings using Civil 3D software.Essential SkillsProficiency in Civil 3D software.Experience in civil engineering, site development, and land development.Minimum of 3 years of design experience.At least 1 year of land development experience.Grading and project management skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working at a full-service firm is preferred but not required.Familiarity with building and site development is preferred.Understanding of grading and site plans, as well as water resources on projects.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $81000.00
