Job Title: Civil Drafter/DesignerJob Description Are you a talented Designer Drafter looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in MicroStation and Open Roads Design software, particularly in the Storm Flow modules. You'll create detailed design drawings, plans, and models for roadways, drainage systems, and other infrastructure developments. Responsibilities + Design Excellence: Utilize MicroStation and Open Roads to develop precise design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects. + 3D Modeling: Create and manage 3D models, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections. + Storm Flow Analysis: Implement Storm Flow modules to analyze drainage systems and ensure regulatory compliance. + Collaborative Projects: Work closely with engineers and project managers to understand and meet project requirements and objectives. + Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and project summaries. + Quality Control: Review and modify designs based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. + Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Essential Skills + Educational Background : Associate degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. + Technical Expertise: Proven experience with MicroStation and Open Roads Design software; expertise in Storm Flow modules is highly desirable. + Civil Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. + Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work. + Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills. + Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Experience: 2+ years in Civil Drafting, particularly in roadways, drainage systems, and other infrastructure developments. + 3D Proficiency: Proficiency in 3D Modeling and Bentley Systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Software Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Educational Advancement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field. + Survey Expertise: Proficiency in survey software and land surveying. + Transportation Engineering: Experience in transportation engineering and highway design. + Topography Knowledge: Knowledge of topography and land development.
