Kimley-Horn's Houston, Texas (TX) office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join their Structures team. This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities You will have the opportunity to work on new and existing buildings, retaining walls, treatment facilities and other structural design efforts related to public and/or private structural projects throughout the cityPrepare structural plans, specifications and estimates for clientsAs a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions Qualifications 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm   Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering"Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification Experience utilizing software programs for general structural analysisExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesDetail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environmentAbility to work independently and as a team Why Kimley-Horn?
