Kimley-Horn is seeking a Civil EIT with 2+ years of experience in transit and rail design.
ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit and rail projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to Commuter Rail, Heavy Rail Transit (HRT), and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects. Various tasks may include concept development, final design, schedule development, and cost estimating. This role will require a high degree of multi-disciplinary coordination. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.
Qualifications An ABET Accredited BS or MS degree in the field of Civil EngineeringEIT Certification (or ability to obtain within six months)Self-motivated team player2+ years of transit-focused engineering experience including:Transit corridor design experience with a focus on (but not limited to) rail modesTrack, guideway, and facility designApplicable Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and/or bus facility design experience encouragedExperience preparing final design plans, specifications, and construction cost estimatesExposure to Bentley MicroStation, including InRoadsExposure to AutoCAD Civil 3DProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience communicating and working with clientsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and detail-orientationAbility to balance priorities among multiple projects
Base Salary Range:
