Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description This position involves working on projects related to water and/or wastewater/sewer treatment plants, utility systems such as new pipes, pump stations, and pipe relocations. The candidate will also be responsible for permitting, grant application writing, and Construction Quality Assurance (CQA). After training, the candidate will also interface with clients. Responsibilities + Work on projects associated with water and/or wastewater/sewer treatment plants. + Manage utility systems projects including new pipes, pump stations, and pipe relocations. + Handle permitting and grant application writing. + Perform Construction Quality Assurance (CQA). + Interface with clients after training. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. + Experience or familiarity with wastewater from school. + Client interfacing experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred. + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus. Work Environment The candidate will work on-site in Frankfort, KY, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role offers the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks due to the department size of 30-40 employees, making it a great opportunity to learn many skills within civil engineering. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
