Century Engineering, a Kleinfelder Company, is seeking talented Civil Engineers to work on challenging and exciting site-civil design land development projects (both public and private) in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Reporting to the Bowie, Maryland office, successful candidates will perform engineering tasks in the site-civil engineering field through application of relevant design criteria, standards, and processes. This is a branch office with opportunities to work with existing team members; while being able to grow and expand your individual responsibilities, as the office grows. The office will focus on providing services in Anne Arundel County, Prince George's County, Montgomery County, the District of Columbia and Southern MD (Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's); reaching into Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Howard County, as applicable. Responsibilities: Perform field investigations to determine existing conditionsDesign all aspects of engineering projects to include layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment controlPrepare agency design submission packages for agency reviews and approvalsParticipate with permitting and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawingsInterpret and apply all applicable federal, state and/or local codesDraft technical specifications Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings Qualifications: BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering programA minimum of 3-6 years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering fieldEIT/PE Certification desirableAutoCAD skills requiredCivil 3D experience desirableExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficiency in the use of Microsoft OfficeAbility to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team membersValid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices Move Forward with KleinfelderKleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
