Job Title: Civil Engineer Job Description Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to design site grading and utility improvements for new and existing churches and commercial site assessments. Responsible for the development and completion of proposals, permits, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Perform stormwater management designs and stormwater management permitting. Hard Skills + AutoCAD Civil 3D + Stormwater Management + Site Grading Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Naperville, Illinois and some days remote. Work Environment This position is open due to continued project wins in the land development space and aims to grow the team. You will work closely with the Land Development Manager. The current Land Development team has about three individuals, and they are looking to add another to help with production work and eventually grow into a Project Management position. The company has about 50 employees in Illinois, with 6-10 working in the downtown office. The headquarters is in the Twin Cities with approximately 200 employees. The role is based out of the Naperville office, with in-office presence required two to three days a week. You will always work from home on Mondays and Fridays. There is also an office in downtown Chicago, primarily for the structural team, but you are expected to go to the Naperville office at least once a week, especially initially. The project types include Commercial, Religious Facilities, Solar, and Municipal. There is a particular interest in expanding into the municipal space, so experience in that area is a plus.
