Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. You will engage with all project phases, from design through the municipal approval process. Collaborate with the Project Manager and design team to provide technical expertise and support. Responsibilities include assembling site plans, creating plan sets, and utilizing Civil 3D and AutoCAD daily. Projects may involve municipal and/or land development, with a primary focus on private land development projects. FULL DUTIES: • Perform a variety of civil, environmental, transportation engineering, site planning, surveying, and landscape architecture tasks under close supervision. • Utilize computer and engineering software, with a strong familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. • Design portions of projects under supervision. • Assist in field surveying and construction observation. • Research literature catalogs, prepare quantity estimates, and draft reports required for project permits. • Attend meetings with the project engineer. • Perform other duties as assigned. Projects are diverse, including residential, commercial, institutional, multi-family, telecom, and municipalities. Local travel to job sites may be required. Preference for daily office presence, but candidates with the necessary skills living over an hour away may work in-office a few days per week after an initial 4-6 week training period.
