Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing various aspects of engineering projects, including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control. This role involves performing field investigations, preparing design submission packages, participating in permitting, and drafting technical specifications. Occasional travel to project/client sites is required.

ResponsibilitiesDesign all aspects of engineering projects including layout, grading, earthwork, storm drain, septic, sanitary sewer, water, storm water management, and erosion/sediment control.Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions.Prepare agency design submission packages for reviews and approvals.Participate in permitting and the completion of as-constructed/as-built drawings.Interpret and apply all applicable federal, state, and local codes.Draft technical specifications.Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meetings.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2-7 years of relevant design experience in the site-civil engineering field working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Experience designing land development projects.EIT Certification or ability to obtain an EIT Certification within the next 6 months is preferred.BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Work Environment

This is an in-office role with a team-oriented culture focused on training and development. The office has a small team of 5-7 people, but there are plans for rapid expansion. We offer 2 weeks of PTO and 6 paid holidays, ensuring that everyone is treated as a full-time employee.
