Job Title: Civil Engineer (Subject Matter Expert)
Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with significant experience in supporting large construction and development projects. The role involves managing stormwater best practices for distributed generation solar projects ranging from 5 MW to 200 MW. ResponsibilitiesReview external engineering plans and provide valuable insights.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the environmental department.Design innovative stormwater protection practices for the construction phase.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Redline engineering plans.Work closely with the environmental department.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.10-25 years of experience with stormwater management practices on large construction projects.Experience with structural and geotechnical engineering.Proficiency in site development and sediment control.Knowledge of hydrology, stormwater, and Civil 3D.Experience in project-based deliverables.Site development experience is essential.Proficiency in Civil 3D, grounding, road design, permitting, and surveying.Licensed EIT or PE.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, battery, transmission, and substation.Project experience on large-scale construction projects over 10 acres, such as roads, apartments, residential infrastructure, concrete plants, data centers, and airports.Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the US. The team consists of 22 people scattered nationwide. This is a non-nuclear position and offers opportunities for career advancement within a diversified organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00
